PB102 CDA-464 SAE C-464000, Cu 92-94%, Sn 6-8%
Good corrosion resistance, widely used as an electrical conductor.
Hardness HRb 75-98
Cu 59/65, Zn 35/37
Good corrosion resistance in ambient air and sea water, unstable in acid and alkalis.
Hardness HB 75
Al 99, Cu 0.15, Mn 0.05, Zn 0.1
Low weight, good electrical and heat conductivity, high corrosion resistance but low mechanical strength (Duralumin is hardenable to HB 105).
Hardness HB 43
Ni 57, Cr 16.5, Mo 17, W 4.5, Fe 5
Used in place of high speed steels when high temperatures are involved – stable up to 1040oC (1900oF).
Hardness HB 241
Density: from 1.30 to 2.40 g/cm3
Hardness: H77-90 Rockwell
Low cost material with good mechanical properties. High gloss finish. Excellent colorability.
Density: from 1.23 to 1.47g/cm3
Hardness: H50 Rockwell
Same as above, but lighter and excellent colour matching possibilities. Dimensional stability.
Density: 1.20g/cm3
Hardness: R110-120 Rockwell
Exceptionally high impact, tensile, shear and flexural strength. High transparency. Good electrical insulation properties.
Density: from 1.38 to 1.45 g/cm3
Hardness: M109-119 Rockwell
For chilling applications. Find most frequent use in oil field equipment and offshore operations.
